Dublin

First off my disclaimer, I may be slightly biased due to me heritage and upbringing, but I will say that Dublin is really a magical place. It is a place of both spirit and lore. It is a place where even the grittiest of areas seem to tell a story of hardship, perseverance and triumph. A city where the architecture seems to be at battle with the old versus the new. A city that desperately wants to hold on to its culture while extending open arms to technology, innovation and the newness of an ever changing world. This has been the Dubliners life for decades, even centuries. An ever changing city that is anchored in and formed by its colorful history. A city with the growing tentacles of diversity that creep, as they often do, first into the depraved areas (where only those of strong spirit survive) then eventually working itself into the front line to take its place integrated into the city’s deep grained culture. Cranes can be seen dotting the cities skyline, which are always an indicator of growth. Dublin, a city of history, a city of culture, a magical city of change.
