My week at Yellowstone was filled with a sense of both joy and awe. The park is nothing short of magnificent and is very well organized and maintained. The beauty, at first leaves you “wowing”, then speechless and for me, then to a place where I felt very attuned and peaceful. It had me meditating and reflecting on how for thousands and thousands of years all living things in this area of the planet, lived harmoniously together. This park is massive and still does a very good job at preserving its natural state. All animals have the right of way and will often back traffic up for an hour. Buffalo, Elk, Moose, Coyote. There is definitely a sense of respect held by the visitors and a culture of that reverence towards nature, and the “make no mistake whose park this actually is” conveyed by the parks team. Many are volunteers, along with camp hosts and a slew of very helpful and informative rangers.
I took many pictures and will eventually publish them to this site. Being without a strong WiFi connection limits my upload speeds. You can however follow my Facebook nomadninetynine, where I have created a number of picture galleries. But I will say the pictures do not do this places magnificence Justice. if you do nothing else in your life, Everyone should spend at least a week in Yellowstone.
